Homelessness is a looming and unyielding experience of uncertainty. There is often a daunting and false perception that comes with homelessness. Honestly, when you think about it what comes to mind when you think of someone experiencing homelessness? Would you think struggling adolescent or college student? As we have come to better understand and empathize with this challenge, we have identified a lack of awareness within our community, specifically with academic institutions. The lack of support networks available to youth, coupled with the bias towards homelessness make this challenge difficult to identify and resolve.

CoAct welcomes you to Real Stories. Immerse in the actualities of the homeless experience through our unique virtual experience and in person installation. Join our journey to understand and empower students and youth experiencing homelessness and extreme insecurities.

This reception will be using Mozilla Hubs. The program is a little different than most online meeting programs. It is recommended participants join using a computer with a mouse and a keyboard. A 101 on Mozilla Hubs will be offered prior to help participants get familiar with the program.
