Our Response:
COVID-19 will likely change many norms for us. As we come to understand the full effects of this global pandemic, needs will arise, requiring an immediate response. Yet, many of the contributing factors will stem from existing disparities that have been elevated to new extremes. How do we come to better understand this challenge so we may design not only short term options, but long term systems wide solutions?
Our aim is to explore and identify how COVID-19 is indirectly effecting individuals, families, and students as they adapt to the new norm. As we engage more directly with our communities, we can identify the unique individual needs, identify gaps in current services, identify the current resources available, and garner ideas to address key concerns as we learn what long term solutions will be needed to help us adapt to this new norm.
